This year marks a significant milestone for our Electrical Safety UK Limited as we celebrate 20 years of dedicated service and unwavering commitment to providing a Holistic Approach to Electrical Safety. From humble beginnings to becoming a trusted name in the industry, our journey has been driven by a passion for safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Our Founding Principles
From our humble beginning in 2004, Mike Frain, supported by his daughter Rebecca, spotted a niche market for providing practical electrical safety advice & training to fellow engineers. Mike set about doing exactly that and soon developed long-standing relationships with large blue-chip clients who still work with ESUK today. The company’s reputation spread quickly within Europe and further afield, with ESUK becoming one of the forefront companies developing procedures for safely managing arc flash hazards.
Rebecca took over management of the company in 2010. She expanded a formidable Board of Directors with Mike, welcoming Ted Lowe, Sue Myers, Andy Linley, and Paul Hopton into the team to strengthen and grow the business. Drawing upon the various experiences and many years of expertise of the whole team, ESUK has now grown into a thriving consultancy business, and its team of Engineers, Project Managers, Trainers, and the Administrative support team provides the most practical advice and support.

Looking Ahead
As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we are excited about the future. The electrical industry will continue to face new challenges, and we are ready to meet them head-on.
This year, we joined the Sicame Group, an exciting opportunity for all involved. The whole team at ESUK is looking forward to working with Sicame and continuing our current growth plans. The acquisition will significantly enhance ESUK’s Holistic Approach to Electrical Safety Management by allowing it to access a large international network of partners and subsidiaries within the group and opening a wider range of clients in multiple countries.
We continue to grow, with new team members joining the family in the next few months. We also see some amazing employees continuing their development within the company with promotions, upskilling, and restructuring.
