Course Aims
The course focuses on situations where Regulation 14 of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 permits work on or near live conductors and serves to show how, with careful consideration and the implementation of control measures, the risks can be reduced to a level where work near live conductors is acceptable.
Delegates attending the course must be 18 years of age or older. There are no formal entry requirements; however, candidates are expected to have a basic understanding of electrical science and have a practical appreciation of electrical installation work.
