Course Aims
All work on the fixed electrical installation of domestic dwellings in England and Wales must comply with Part P of the Building Regulations. Furthermore, all electrical work must comply with all other relevant parts of the Building Regulations, including conservation of energy, limiting the transmission of sound, structure, fire safety and accessibility to name a few.
This qualification is aimed at electricians and other trades who undertake electrical work in a domestic environment to enable them to gain an understanding of how electrical installations in dwellings must comply with all relevant Building Regulations.
This course does not cover the electrical technical requirements of such work, the 2382-22 qualification would be more appropriate for this.
