Course Aims
In April 2026 BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 was introduced, replacing the previous version of the IET Wiring Regulations. From 15th October 2026 all electrical design, installation and inspection and testing work must comply with the latest version of the British Standard.
This qualification is primarily aimed at practising electricians with relevant experience and other allied professionals e.g. surveyors, consultants and other trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of the IET Regulations.
It is also suitable for anyone wishing to demonstrate an understanding of the IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
For those candidates who already hold the previous 18th Edition qualification (2382-26) there is a 1 Day course available which is an overview of the changes within amendments to the 18th edition followed by the full exam.

This course is open to persons who are 16 years of age and over.
For those candidates who already hold the previous City and Guilds 18th Edition qualification (2382-18) there is a 1 Day course available which is an overview of the changes within amendments to the 18th edition followed by the full exam.
Upon completion of the course, successful delegates will receive a certificate.
