Course Aims

All work on the fixed electrical installation of domestic dwellings in England and Wales must comply with Part P of the Building Regulations. Furthermore, all electrical work must comply with all other relevant parts of the Building Regulations, including conservation of energy, limiting the transmission of sound, structure, fire safety and accessibility to name a few.

This qualification is also suitable for anyone working in building trades who require a working knowledge of how electrical installations in dwellings can affect the building construction.

This course does not cover the electrical technical requirements of such work, the 2382-18 qualification would be more appropriate for this.
